A rainy morning

is not good for the wallet. We went to Mittenwald and I discovered this little sewing shop filled with goodies. I spent almost an hour in there and know exactly what I will do with my findings when I get back home.

Ein verregneter Vormittag ist nicht gut für das Portmonaie. In Mittenwald habe ich einen kleinen Handarbeitsladen entdeckt der voll war mit interessanten Sachen. Ich war fast eine Std. darinnen und weiss schon ganz genau was ich mit meiner "Beute" anfangen werde wenn wir wieder zu Hause sind.

Vacation

Wir geniessen unsere Urlaubszeit und sahen heute eine Gämse als wir mit Daisy einen Spaziergang machten.

Broke my promise

and can't keep the second page of the mini album to myself. The rest will definitely have to wait since I am taking a two-week break from scrapping. We're going on vacation and I am so excited, because I got tickets to the Oberammergauer Passion Play. A nice 60th birthday present for myself :-) and Detlef.

Eigentlich wollte ich die zweite Seite des mini albums noch nicht veröffentlichen, aber..... Der Rest muss nun wirklich warten, denn ich mach jetzt ne 2-wöchige Scrappause. Wir fahren erst mal in den Urlaub und ich bin schon ganz aufgeregt, denn ich habe gestern noch 2 tickets für die Oberammergauer Passionsspiele ergattert, dank meiner Freundin Christa. Das ist ein schönes 60. Geburtstagsgeschenk für mich und Detlef.

The first page

of the mini album for the girls is the only page I will show here until I have finished the album and shipped it to both of 'em. I cut the tree with the "Heritage" cartridge on my Cricut and inked it with Distress Ink "vintage photo" from Ranger.

Das ist die einzige Seite vom Minialbum für meine girls die ich jetzt veröffentliche, erst wenn das Album dann fertig und weggeschickt ist, kommen restliche Seiten nach. Den Baum habe ich mit der Heritage cartridge auf meiner Cricut geschnitten und mit Distress Ink von Ranger behandelt.

Erinnerungen

kamen hoch als ich durch die alten Fotos suchte. Da fand ich dieses Bild von mir mit meiner Schulklasse 1963 in Schaippach. Wahnsinn!

When I was searching for pics for Oma's album, I found this old photo of me with my class at a school trip in 1963. :-) I wonder if my girls can find me.

The first of May

Since today was a cloudy day, we decided to move our indoor plants outside. That way they don't get burned by the sun and have a few days to get acclimated outdoors.

Da es heute wolking war, haben wir unsere Zimmerpflanzen raus in den Garten gestellt. So können sie sich langsam an die "Freiheit" gewöhnen, ohne dass sie sofort von der Sonne verbrannt werden.

The rest of the afternoon I spent by sorting out fotos. Lots of memories, but also a little bit of work to put them in the right order. I also found some real funny pictures.

Den ganzen Nachmittag habe ich dann mit Fotos sortieren verbracht, schöne Erinnerungen, aber auch viel Arbeit um die alle richtig einzuordnen. Da kamen aber auch so manch lustige Sachen hervor.
