Am Tag danach

(wenn man die Superbowl) anschaut, ist man müde, da diese ja in Deutschland bis um 4 Uhr morgens ging.  Nur gut dass ich gestern noch ein paar Karten gemacht habe, denn heute bin ich eigentlich zu nichts fähig.

If you live in Germany, and if you watched the Superbowl Game until 4 a.m., then you are extremely tired all day long.  As a matter of fact, I feel like I have jet lag and most likely won't be active until the evening comes again.  But at least I made these two cards yesterday.

Komischerweise sind auch Daisy und Frisky hundemüde, oder ist das katzenmüde.  Im Englischen heißt es ja:  cat nap.  Ach was solls, die beiden sind auf der Eckbank eingepennt.

Strangely enough Daisy and Frisky are very tired also.  Both are doing a catnap.  In German they call that being dog tired.  So it fits for both of them.

Meine Socken werden auch langsam.  Ist ja kein Wunder wenn man Nachts im Bett sitzt und beim Fernsehen strickt.  Nun kann ich bald wieder Moni anrufen damit sie mir den Rest der Ferse zeigt.  Danach habe ich noch die Fußspitze vor mir und dann kann ich hoffentlich alleine ein Paar stricken.  Farbige Sockenwolle habe ich schon.

My socks are also coming along.  On one I started the heel.  And the second one is getting there, I was knitting half the night in bed watching TV at the same time.    Now Monika has to come over and show me how to do the rest of the heel.  After that I have the tip of the sock and that should be it.  Then I'll be able to knit socks as I please, I already got myself some real colorful sock wool.

Heute ist es mal wieder richtig sonnig.  Der Winter ist so durcheinander mit dem Wetter.  Aber wenn ich aus dem Fenster im Anbau gucke, sehe ich dass das neue Grass sehr sporadisch im Quadrat Muster wächst.  Aber besser das als überhaupt nichts.

Today it's really sunny.  Our winter has been really undecided what it wants.  But looking out of the window, I can see the new grass growing in a square pattern.  Well better like that than nothing coming out at all.
