Today is the First of Advent

and we went to one of the smaller Christmas Markets in the area because the one in our city is too crowded on the weekend. So it was a nice Sunday afternoon spent with my hubby.
Heute am 1. Advent haben wir den Weihnachtsmarkt in Veitshöchheim besucht da ich mich nicht gerne durch Menschenmassen bewege (und ich weiss dass der Würzburger am Wochenende gestopft voll ist). Dieser war schön für eine Adventsstimmung und einen netten Sonntagsnachmittag mit meinem "Göga".

For a long time I wanted one of those wooden pyramids and we found one at that market made by one of the locals. So we bought it and since Detlef and I don't exchange presents, this is our Christmas present to ourselves.

Schon länger wollte ich eine Pyramide und auf dem kleinen Markt sind wir fündig geworden. Da Detlef und ich uns nicht gegenseitig beschenken haben wir uns diese kleine Freude gegönnt. Sozusagen als Weihnachtsgeschenk von uns für uns.

    Looks like so much fun! I forgot today is the first advent sunday!!! I need to go out now and buy a wreath. I have 4 lonely candles, no centerpiece and no way to hold the candles up...it is hard to do a an advent wreath here!
