Blütenzauber

April has come and gone and what a beautiful April it was. Here are some more pics of April blooms in Germany. Those will make some beautiful Scrappages once I find the time to get going. But first we'll take a trip down the mountains, the scenery there will add some more good pages :-).

Curly Moments

Millie and Melanie left yesterday. I hate goodbyes. Ever since I left the states nine years ago, I've been doing goodbyes from either family or friends. Then I always remind myself that there will always be Hellos again. And those are the best. But we had fun, especially when Millie and I played "being typical gals".

Gestern sind Melanie und Millie wieder nach Hause geflogen. Ich mag diese Abschiede nicht. Seit ich vor 9 Jahren die USA verliess, habe ich immer diese "good byes" von Familie und Freunden. Aber dann erinnere ich mich daran, dass es auch wieder "Hallos" gibt. Und diese sind die Besten. Millie und ich hatten viel Spass als wir "typische Mädchen" spielten.

Millie is here

Here she is... the reason why I haven't been here for a few days. Millie and Mommy came to visit us here in Germany. We're enjoying the warm weather, doing all girlie things like shopping for clothes and going for stroller walks.

Kaum ist das Enkelchen da, hat man keine Zeit mehr für andere Dinge. Aber das ist das Schöne, wir geniessen diese Tage zusammen, das schöne Wetter und machen all die Dinge die "Mädchen" so sehr lieben: neue Kleidung kaufen.

Dirty Doggie

Everybody is doing Spring cleaning, mine is "almost" finished and since today is still a holiday here, we gave Daisy a bath. She absolutely hates water, but the outcome was a fluffy little dog relaxing in her towel like a little diva.

Tja, wenn der Hund schmutzig ist, braucht er ein Bad. Und da wir schon mit dem Frühjahrsputz fast fertig waren, hat Daisy sein verhasstes Bad bekommen.

Easter

Hope you all had a nice Easter. I wasn't very creative this year so I went to the bakery this morning and got us some Easterbunny cookies. The weather was beautiful and we were able to spend some time on the balcony. Tomorrow is Easter Monday which is a holiday in Germany and the stores will be closed.

Kreativ war ich diese Ostern nicht mit schmücken u.s.w, also musste ein Osterhase vom Bäcker herhalten. Manchmal muss man einfach faul sein.
